So I'm having a discussion with a friend that thinks that there is something wrong with me because I am uncomfortable in temperatures above 80F generally (in FL anyway).

So I thought I'd get a general idea of what temperatures people feel are "cold" or "hot" to them.

Today in Clearwater, FL it is 84F w/ 50% humidity. This is very warm. I'm not gonna die from this and I will go outside for a short period of time... but this temp is still uncomfortable to me especially in the sun directly.

I am a Connecticut native and I have been here in FL for about 4 years. I have yet to get used to the heat!

I consider temps between 50-70F to be optimal and am perfectly fine up until about 80F. I'm not really "cold" until the temps drop below 25F personally and will start considering heavier jackets lol.

What about you guys... are you from a cold region or warm region? What do you consider to be "hot" or "cold"?

I would consider below 40F cold and above 80F hot. Above 70F is warm.

Over 23-24°C starts to be warm for me, and below 10°C is cold. "Hot" would start at 30° for me but I wouldn't be bothered until it was about 35°C.

Cold- Depends heavily on wind speed. But with light winds maybe below 5*C is "cold". (With none it takes below freezing)

Hot - Above 25*C (Above 20*C is warm)

Cold - starts at 25 F / -4 C to 45 F / 7 C, depending on wind/precipitation/cloud cover conditions.

Warm - 70 F / 21 C to 85 F / 29 C in general, but can start as low as 60 F / 16 C or be as much as 92 F / 33 C

I come from a pretty mild region. No really extreme temps occur here (the record high of my area is ~40C and record low is ~-20C).
