Are cities like Vancouver and London smaller in population than they are today?
Would Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador (except the northern portion) have metropolises or cities with more than 1 million inhabitants? Would San Diego get occasional blizzards a few times a decade? Would most of the Western European population be in southern Germany towards the Mediterranean? Would Khabarovsk krai, Russia have a network of cities, perhaps even medium-sized cities? Would most of northern Japan be free of heavy snow? Are the lower latitudes of the eastern continents the new holiday destinations on beaches with good weather?

Yes Dallas would probably be borderline tropical under such a rearrangement of Ocean currents...

Florida would be tropical like 85 in the winter with no cold fronts.

Yes. West coasts will be colder than east if you have reverse rotation of Earth.

West coasts being warmer is a bit of a generalisation based on North America and Europe that doesn't apply on a world scale.

Southern Africa is notably warmer on its east than west coast.

Compare Durban at 29°53′S with Port Nolloth at 29°15′S. Durban in the east is almost 6C warmer over the year.

Compare Inhambane at 23°51′54″S with Walvis Bay at 22°57′22″S. Inhambane in the east is almost 10C warmer in average highs.

South America south of the Equator is similar.

Compare Rio Grande with Valparaiso.

Or Aracaju with Lima.

Not all, but that simply shows the problem with the North America/Europe-normative "west coasts are warmer" generalization.
