A return to the winter pattern! Like that isn't unusual give the permanent warm blob in the NE Pacific.
It may be more related to ENSO... Don't know about your location, but April, and May were above average here. June is near average so far...

Edit: So much for supposedly dry El Nino summers. This summer is turning out nothing like that one Bastardi droned on about being identical to. 1958 59 I think. Much wetter in the forecast.
Here is the forecast Weatherbell put out a while back for the summer. I think the dry El Niño summer was meant more for the Southeast
With yet again more rain today (in form of drizzle overnight and downpour just now) it's really looking lush and jungleish here... luckily without the heat. Warm yes, Cool at times yes...but still no heat. I learned not to complain about the clouds and rain giving whats happening not far south from me. lol
Well some heat today. Reached low 80s and a bit humid (dew points low 60s).
81 F/27 C, dewpoint 60 F/16 C at 6:30PM. Average summer day.

Here's a screen shot of the run with the RunKeeper App. You can see the ups and down with the little hills but notice just before the 2nd mile I was starting to feel it.. Had to walk for 1/4 mile then started jogging again. But from start to about 2 miles my pace was under 10 minutes a mile. (still not my best)
Here's my run. Probably went too hard for being out of practice. Was 59°F, dew point 57°F (was morning). Still sweated a lot.
currently quite humid dewpoint is 72 temp is 89 and heat index is 96. storms are moving in to the area soon. really hoping that polar vortex moves to the other side of the globe because its summer and its already influencing us and after June 21st it will only keep getting stronger. not liking the looks of this winter with this polar vortex at the Hudson bay.

Nice! Wow. I did a double take on the graph.. thought you got faster as time went on but the minutes are upside down.. lol. But at the 1/2 mile mark, you had gone from about 300 feet to a 700 foot elevation (400 foot gain?!) and you were running faster?

My dew point shot to 69F now. ugh. A/C has to go on.
Tornado warnings in Southern IL and Indiana. Bill spinning up the atmosphere!
If that PV and Ridge stay put, it's going to be one interesting Fall.

Not sure about that graph - is the blue line your pace? And the gray your elevation? If the blue represents elevation, that's some hellish topography you're going through...lol.
