odd that highest chance is in eastern Massachusetts

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR A SIGNIFICANT SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK
THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...BUT WILL DEPEND ON HOW MUCH
SUNSHINE DEVELOPS AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT. IF ENOUGH SUNSHINE
OCCURS...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WIND GUSTS AND LARGE HAIL. ISOLATED WIND
GUSTS OF 70+ MPH OR EVEN HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF GOLFBALLS WOULD BE
A POSSIBILITY. IN ADDITION...AN ISOLATED TORNADO OR TWO MAY OCCUR.

THE HIGHEST RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER TUESDAY IS BETWEEN 2 AND 8 PM
ALONG AND NORTHWEST OF A BOSTON TO PROVIDENCE LINE...BUT CAN NOT
BE RULED OUT ACROSS SOUTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS. STORMS SHOULD BE
MOVING FAST ENOUGH TO PREVENT FLASH FLOODING...BUT HEAVY RAIN MAY
RESULT IN BRIEF POOR DRAINAGE STREET FLOODING.

I got clouds more than sun! YES!!!!

Follow this guy on twitter. Posts some good stuff.

"The faster the first line of showers starts to fall apart, the more likely the second line will be severe this afternoon."

"These thunderstorms and showers are expected to dissipate before reaching the coast."

"Stating that, will watch to see impact on instability as the heavy rain may kill some of this severe potential if clouds linger long enough."

Up to 91 F with a 99 F heat index at 11:53 AM.

Chance of storms only 2 days out of the next 10, and TWC is predicting 97/79 for next Monday.

I don't think the low will be 79 F if we get a high of 97 F....more like 82 F or so.

First 90°F of the year in Cannes, with 92°F. Even chilly Nice is currently at 88°F. Didn't know it was so warm, must have to do with the low humidity (dew point around 50°F). When we only get in the high 70s, the dew point is around 65°F.
