One just came in in North Carolina. Gee, what would we do without the ability to see and report things.... Oh yeah... Tornado counts would be low like the past. LOL

14 of 28 days (May 31 & included tomorrow) I had precip fallen.... pretty much every other day.

Still haven't needed to water the garden since May

Only 5.25" which is nothing compared to Washington DC

They jumped into 2nd wettest June all time (since 1871) today. Just shy of a foot of rain as of 10p, 11.93" on the month. Might get more tonight.

Burlington, VT needs 2.23" more to have wettest June on record.

Let me guess... people are saying enough is enough with the rain...

Then let me guess... Hype of drought will happen again soon

Then let me guess... everyone will ask where is the rain, we need rain...

then let me guess.... everyone will complain it's raining too much and it wont stop..

I got over an inch of rain in the past 45 minutes. It's still coming down and just saw an intense lightning strike. 1.56 inches for the day so far.

Yeah, the rain was pretty crazy. And annoying and ridiculous. It made for a troublesome drive home from my little cousin's birthday party. It also rained the whole time, so it kept everybody indoors, except for the kids who went on the trampoline anyway and got soaked.

I also didn't use AC last night. I just used my fan, and that was enough. Maybe it was a few degrees warmer in my room than I'd normally want it, but it seemed wasteful to turn the AC on. Plus, sleeping without it (albeit in the basement) for two and a half nights during the power outage here may have forced my tolerance of warmth for sleeping to increase just a bit.
