Hartford, CT (BDL) 7th wettest June 1 - July 8 period with 7.76", more is coming.

QPF Rain total forecast next 24hrs.

HAZARD..70 MPH WIND GUSTS.

EXPECT CONSIDERABLE TREE DAMAGE. DAMAGE IS LIKELY TO MOBILE HOMES...ROOFS AND OUTBUILDINGS.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIDESPREAD WIND DAMAGE. SEEK SHELTER NOW INSIDE A STURDY STRUCTURE AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

I don't see how it's "awesome". There should be an ice cap at that elevation..

I watch the gfs charts for my area and the 0c isotherm rarely exceeds 13000 feet. Normally the freezing level is about 7,000 feet.

So for me this is no big deal.. Considering the snowline should probably be lower.

Next week the freezing level will drop to 4,800 feet. So honestly this is comical!

The estimated permanent snowline for me is 5,600 feet, at this level snow would never melt.

This is how un noteworthy this is and how Cambium exagerates everything to a ginormous extent.
