And your avg July low is 68 F. That would be downright pleasant here in July. There's a huge difference between summer in Charlotte and summer in Central and Southern FL. By the end of August, your average low is around 64 F and by the end of September it's at 54 F. You really have it good compared to us.
Wunderground often shows rural interior places like Okeechobee going down to 69 F. I always wonder if that's just an anomaly or a broken weather station. Jax got down to 70 F this morning.

Well, Okeechobee can see 69 F on occasion. Not too unusual in July. Average low is 73 F in July/August. Inland Central FL and North FL can see high 60s on occasion. Much more common in the Upper South though.

Do the neighbors or anyone on the road even know? Or are they going to say "it came out of nowhere"

1st.... Current temps on left... 8:30pm and it's still in the 80s here. 82°, Dewpoint 68.

2nd... Close-up showing 2 cells moving Northeast... I'm going to expect torrential rains soon. Quiet, very warm evening.

Jacksonville Florida at 80°F. NYC 90°F

Hopefully if the center of the ridge goes further north, we will get better rain chances next week.

A large part of the South has had little to no rain over the past two weeks.
