I have a clear view of the storm about to come over the LI Sound. It's getting obscured by clouds, but it's very tall. I heard a faint rumble of thunder and I'm 20-30 miles away.
Interesting! I knew you would have a good view from there. Just cloudy here but hear thunder from the core to my north..
Winds picking up here. I'm watching the easternmost storm die out until I can get a good view of the western (Fairfield) storm, it looks much more impressive on radar, I just hope it stays that way.
I'm hoping that all that rain over the south would move farther east towards the Atlantic. May has been pretty dry over here in eastern Georgia so far.

Cool to see the storms form in the Hudson valley, move Eastward, then watch the shift towards the coast as the front comes in
Thunder stopped before and I got a nice 0.10" rain shower.
