Incredible. Got darker at lunchtime and I was saying feels like it's gonna rain... Looked at radar and saw nothing but clouds but they were thicker.

Here's temp and Satellite. No organized rain anywhere..

10 minutes after I said that, big rain drops came down for literally 3 minutes and stopped and now the sun is poking back out.. Typical Summer time stuff.

You can feel the atmosphere just loaded. DP mid 60s.

So I checked and sure enough... Atmosphere is just loaded with moisture over me and so it's just dropping wherever and when ever it wants.

3pm OBS's. Just change the state in the link for other areas.

http://www.nws.noaa.gov/view/prodsByState.php?state=ct&prodtype=hourly

Looks like interior winds stronger then the coast in CT. Bridgeport, Groton, New Haven all under 13mph while the others are 20mph+

5pm temps. Who thinks the recent rains are holding down temps from really getting into the 90s in NY, CT, RI, & MA?

Only low-mid 80s here, forecasted for 88-90.

Hmmm, Dillemma rises again.

Ground Saturated = Cooler temps (harder for heat spikes) but muggier
Ground Dry = Hotter temps (easier for heat spikes) but not as muggy

Felt like it was easier in May to get hot with the same flow.

LaGuardia NYC at 91° feels like 94 there.

Enjoy.

Current map. Storms blew up across PA check out the report from Kittanning.

Then check out the dew point in Danbury. 70°

Just a Summer evening in the 80s. Be interesting to see how much NYC drops. They always retain heat overnight.

Linden. They hit 95. Newark 93.

Cool link to save. It's sorted by Max temps High to Low for the state of NJ. Change the state in the link for others. You can sort the other stuff too.
