Will check later on. Shouldn't be any areas over 4" I don't think. Might be that 1 or 2 spots nobody reports it from.

Around Lake Huron and Ontario.

Snow Squall Warning for Southern Ontario north of Lake Erie, NorthEast of Detroit.
2-6" snow

The main snow squall southeast of Lake Huron extends from roughly Grand Bend to Strathroy, and will meander in that general vicinity for much of the day as well as tonight.

Local accumulations of 5 to 10 centimetres are possible this morning. The snow squall will likely become more disorganized this afternoon but reintensify again tonight.

Total snowfall amounts of 15 centimetres are expected by this evening in a few locales, such as Strathroy, Parkhill, Watford and Arkona. Further significant amounts are likely tonight into Sunday.

Visibilities will be significantly reduced due to the heavy snow, and snow could quickly accumulate.
For areas immediately along the lakeshore, accumulations should be less as temperatures there will be a few degrees warmer due to the relatively warm water of Lake Huron.

Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably, changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.

Snow Squall Warnings are issued when bands of snow form that produce intense accumulating snow or near zero visibilities.

I think the cloudiness might be enhancing the feeling of darkness? But yeah, DST will be in about two weeks so we'll get brighter mornings back, of course at the expense of 5:30 sunsets lol

Here's future radar loop. White is snow obviously. Loops fast, looks like by 00z tonight there (8pm). Also looks like scattered stuff may form later on today. We need to install a webcam on Marcy.

Hikers beware of rapidly changing conditions!
Current wind chill at the summit of Mt. Washington is -2°F (20°F and 47 mph). Temperatures are forecast to drop and wind chill pick up.

Wind chills will fall to well below zero from late this afternoon through Sunday, with dangerous conditions for frostbite on any exposed skin. Snow showers will decrease in coverage this evening, with strong winds continuing ahead of high pressure building in from the west. Sunday will be the coldest day so far this fall, with temperatures struggling to climb out of the single digits.

Down here, wind is starting to pick up. Usually mornings are calm, afternoon get some wind from thermal heating. Windy down below is a sign of windy higher up.

Yeah, it is. But it still feels dark

I'm starting to really notice the lower sun angle/shorter days. Normally I like to see the decreased sunlight but with the continuing summer like temps it's just annoying.

Yeah, that's my annoyance with South FL climate as well. Too much seasonal delay in the warm season. I wish the temperatures followed the sun angle more like somewhere in Interior AK or Siberia, though obviously that's asking too much lol.

No rain at all in the 10 day. Sunday night forecast to drop to 41 F, Monday night down to 43 F. Highs on both days are expected to be around 66 F with full sun!

I haven't had any rain at all since Sept 28. The next good chance isn't until late next week.
