Not sure about Waycross. It seems to consistently report higher dewpoints than surrounding areas. Maybe it really is a humid spot?

Savannah Hunter is showing 80 with a dewpoint of 79, there's no way.

Looks like the rain is done for the day. Some nice totals - over 2.5 inches since midnight, on top of the .9 we got yesterday. Not a bad way to start November.

Current temp is holding at 65 - a bit warm, but it's not hot. That's the key - as long as it's not hot, I'm good.

Tallahassee has now hit 89 F, breaking their all time monthly November record of 88 F.

Waycross is now at 91 F, just 1 degree shy of their 92 F monthly November record.

Thankfully this BS has managed to stay to my south. Currently 82 F in my neck of the woods.

High here today was 68F. It stayed overcast with rain early - I got an additional inch between yesterday afternoon and this morning.

Alexandria has now received 13.28 inches of rain over just 10 days (at airport).

We may have lows in the 60s on Thursday and Friday night. So while our highs aren't very torchy, our lows sure will be. I've been rooting for a warm November since it's supposed to bring a snowy winter in El Nino years. Though if we have a warm November and a snowless winter, I'll be pretty ticked off. But I'm concerned about the cool snap this weekend as I'm worried we'll shift to a cold pattern for November and then have a blowtorch JFM.

Whatever happens, we should get lots of rain, but warm and wet is bad because bugs like it.

Even though there are other influences at play, any time the AO is forecasted to be 2-4 standard deviations above average, cold air in the lower 48 is not really going to happen too easily.

Last November was our 5th coldest on record and still had a very cold winter.
