It shouldn't. 70 F in Connecticut isn't monthly record breaking weather like 90 F in north Florida is.

I really would like to know how angry you would get if your area (during any time of the year) got a monthly record high. You'd probably destroy your computer I'd bet.

I'm still waiting to see 80 in January here (I think the all-time is 78). That's when I know it's time to move...lol.

The all-time January high in Syracuse (where I wanna move) is 70 (yes, 70). Watch it break that when I move up there....lol.

That's why I'll always keep my shorts handy all year round - even in Syracuse.

I checked Wikipedia. Apparently, Danbury's record in December is 80 F. That's kind of shocking actually. I'm too lazy to look up when that happened. Cambium probably knows.

Lexington hit 80 in January 1943.

Danbury never hit 80 in January but records only go back to 1998. I see they hit 70° in 2007.

Bridgeport January max is 68°. better than Syracuse.

Gotta love coastal climate sometimes. CT coast. Lol

It reached 86F today, tying the daily record high. The heat index reached 91F.

I just had nearly 2 inches of rain. A flood advisory has just been issued.

It's currently 70 with a dew point of 69. The humidity is just plain annoying. It makes sleeping uncomfortable.

Currently we're getting light rain, which we don't need, since we've gotten roughly 10" of rain in the past six weeks.
