Umm, wow?

Temps in the 60s 1 side of low (Kentucky) and 30s with snow on the other side. It's still in the teens in Iowa. Gees! I got reports and webcam with full sun, not sure why this is showing clouds over them. Might be High thin clouds.

Mesoscale Discussion for heavy snow 1" per hour rates north of Indianapolis

Why couldn't this storm just keep moving East!! I would of gotten snow. Instead its moving NE towards Quebec.

It's been mostly sunny today but seeing dark clouds on the horizon. It's snowing only about 20 miles north of Louisville right now. 62F and windy here.

Here's how the 850mb temps were at 7am this morning

Current 850mb temps

Something resembling white frozen liquid particles are falling from the sky, the first ones since mid-March. Can I call it snow, probably not, but certainly something in that fashion. Temp now 34F so maybe it will turn snowier later on.

edit: Ok, now it's genuine sleet/snow, I can see some white sticking onto the grass. So as today, 21 November, we got our first snowfall.

First accumulating snow of the year here in SE Michigan! Temps around 32F all day. Supposed to be like 6 in they say. Just beautiful. Back to Michigan weather after an odd California-like fall with one day almost hitting 80!

The satellite is picking up snow on the ground and showing it as clouds there I would suspect.

I didn't know there were many Amish in NY, interesting. I figure they try to find places with very low land values with lower taxes on property. NY has higher property taxes than PA for example.

Taxes are $2000 a year there. I would say that's low. lol. Interesting take on them.. Always thought they find an area without any overhead wires around. They don't like their photos taken but my brother took one of the horse and buggy they were on, as they drove by in a car.
