Very heavy rain this afternoon. Now lighter rainfall and 67 F/19 C at 4:50PM. Dark enough to require having the lights on.

Sadly 80s will return this week. Summer just doesn't want to let go of its grip, but time will be its downfall.

Just had a wind gust to 20mph. Wish winds would stay loke that constantly.

Getting dark. I see why. Batch of rain coming from the south heading right for me

Looks like round 2 is headed towards me. That batch by Albany hit here earlier.

It's going down to the 50's tomorrow night. Record low is 50 F.

People wearing jackets already, to prepare for tonight's cold.

BTW, why has LA been so humid this summer. I just looked up the stats, and damn . Just as bad as the deep south. Lows almost touched 80's on a few nights.

I doubt many people are in jackets considering it's 76 F right now there. Tonight and tomorrow night fall in the low-mid 50s there. Wouldn't be surprised if it falls into the upper 40s in the usual colder spots (most notably the Peachtree City/Newnan area).

Rain cooled high of 76 F today. The front should push through later tonight. 61 F low forecast for tonight and 56 F for tomorrow night.

Heads up Pilots.

Freezing level over northern Alabama is now down to 10,000 feet.

And temps are in the mid 20s(F) over Kentucky at that level. Radar showing moisture so that means it's snowing up there.

Always awesome to see the Upper air and relate it to whats happening at the surface.

Surface is down to 59F by 9pm. Before the clouds have even broken up.
