That's around where we peak in June.

It's currently at 60 degrees.

We peak at 87.7 degrees on June 21st....only 2.3 degrees shy of being directly overhead. (Which makes sense, the sun would be directly overhead at 23.5 N and I'm at 25.8 N)


At Key West, they peak at 89.4 degrees.


60 degrees was our sun angle in early March....probably about March 8-10......

I'm within a couple miles of 10 degrees north of alex985.

For Chapel Hill, NC:

Latitude: Just shy of the 36th parallel (about 35.95 N)

Current sun angle at solar noon (April 17): 64.3 degrees

At the Equinoxes: 54 degrees
Winter Solstice: 30.5 degrees
Summer Solstice: 77.5 degrees

^^ We have the same sun angle as your summer solstice on April 23-24. When do you have the same angle as my winter solstice (40 degrees)? Exactly 6 months later (October 23-24)?
