Ariete doesn't average 27/28C does he? NI is more than capable of reaching those temperatures too, as is most of Scotland. This year, Scotland reached 20C before anywhere in England, and I'm sure last year it reached 27C before England too. In 2013, NI was doing well with those kind of temperatures.
Looking at the last 25 years from Helsinki, 8 Julys have hovered with highs around 25C or more. The warmest June has had a high of 24.0C, July 27.7C, August 25.0C during this period. So no, we don't get those kinds of months but with one exception - 2010.
While we certainly are more prone to heat burst which bring 27/28C temps for a week than NI, they certainly don't last for a month.
Owen has a point though if you compare Derry with Helsinki Airport. Since 1990 23 of 24 Junes have been warmer than the average June in Derry, all Julys, 22 of 24 Augusts. (17 of Mays, but only 6 of Septembers.)

I just meant more that Northern Ireland could reach high 20's. I know that nowhere in NI can sustain warmth like you can in Finland. In fact, you're probably looking more towards the south east of England to have summers like yours, albeit they're warmer for a bit longer. You have a lot more sunshine than anywhere in the UK, save for a small portion of the south coast, and you get much warmer nights than ANYWHERE in the UK.
