What is your preferred mediterranean climate.

Warmer or cooler; wetter or drier.

Mine would have to be southern Italy and similar types:

Catania - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Valletta - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Perth - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

n.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalbarri,_Western_Australia

Northam, Western Australia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Narrogin, Western Australia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Those are my preferred types.

I like Bari, Italy
Bari - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Not too wet, and the unusual heatwaves there are interesting. Have no idea what they are caused by.

None of them!!! I like Lemnos in Greece at the Aegean Sea and some islands of Cyclades complex in the Aegean too (Santorini, Naxos, Mikonos, Tinos etc). These islands never reached 40 C and temperatures of 38 C are really rare there and never droped below 15 C in summer. Also in winter they never reached -6 C and below. Generally they have a sweet climate for mild lovers or warm lovers. The only disadvantage of the Aegean is the dryness in terms of precipitation in summer time.

Malta funnily enough...

Never recorded a below freezing temperature, never gets that cold, warm sea temperatures, reliable hot summers with clear blue sky & plenty of thunderstorms during autumn, winter & spring

The following are a few of my favorites:
Nevada City, California - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Yosemite National Park - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Monterey, California - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Porto - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Most of coastal California is great and some of the higher altitude Mediterranean climates in Spain like Segovia and Madrid are also great. Valparaiso in Chile looks pretty comfortable to me so I'd throw that in the mix. A lot of choices for me. Nice is probably my favorite "warm" Med climate, or any warm climate for that matter.

Those in Western Greece and central Italy are great.

Ioannina - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Latina, Lazio - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Temperatures here are very similar with my dream climate:

Knin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Winters here are good, summers are really strange though:

Weaverville, California - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Perth also has the best precipitation pattern out of any mediterranean climate.
