Strange I've never seen them grown here.

I appreciate your help. Thanks.

There are very beautiful sandy beaches in Latvia. Soft white sand, one can easily find some places with so called singing sands there. I have been in different Latvian coastal places on seaside and seems that nearly the whole coastline there is like one very long sand beach.

Photos from Friday

Sunny but chilly morning in Zacatlan...a welcome change from the dreary fog the day before

Looking towards the second and third highest mountains in Mexico - Iztaccihuatl (17160 ft) on the right and Popocatepetl (17802 ft) on the left. Both had snow at the summit.

Closer view from a cornfield on the eastern side of the volcanoes

A short walk up from La Joya, at an elevation of about 13000 ft

Can't see the summit from here

The trail continues, but we did not - a little out of breath from the altitude.

Blue sky in the direction of the trailhead. The building in the lower right is the Altzomoni atmospheric observatory.

In the 80s down in Tepoztlan, felt hot in comparison to the cold mountain. This was at the Airbnb house. The people who lived there were a bit odd.

This cat was a bastard.

In 1623 Cartensz surprised when seeing snow at 4°S near Wamena, Papua province, Indonesia at 16k feet, now that summit given the name "Cartensz Pyramid" (the other name being "Puncak Jaya" = "The Victory Summit")
