Pennsylvania (Penns Woods) would have more trees than your photo.
PA is a big state. lol.

That particular spot I was at for some reason reminded me of some areas in PA. But if you click the link you would see how dense the area is with woods. Gives a good perspective of how much they cut down.

I think because a friend of mine lives around State College and always posting pics of his development which is tree less, it reminded me of PA. His development is more condensed though closer together.

This is not one of them but you can see large lot homes, open views, and no trees in PA. My pic had a bit more trees around.

I've noticed more large treeless lots in central/western upstate NY (which might be a bit similar to Pennsylvania) than New England. Don't like the large lawn look much at all, especially when it's that open. Not getting much personal space with all that space, and it's boring looking. This is far prettier, IMO:

Almost looks like Bluff Head Ridge in North Haven, CT. lol

I took this on Oct 28, 2013. I don't have summer photos to compare to. You know why. lol

In a lot of towns/cities in the UK, shopping areas do have covered pavements, but they are usually completely pedestrianised anyway so the coverings are just over the area infront of the shops, rather than actually over a pavement as there is no road...

That's because they're part of the same range.

It was a hike. But how else would I get to the trailhead? The March one, I did drive to the trailhead, though I parked further down, so did most of the climb on foot.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk - went on vacation this past weekend, and we took my nephews there, along with my dad and step-mom. I grew up going there, because my mom and grandma lived there for a long time, so it was nostalgic to be back.

I have photos from the old World Trade Center lookout. They were film photos!

432 Park looks huge, or rather skinny and very tall. Midtown rises like a wall above the rest of "normal" Manhattan.
