I'm doing some research to understand better the climate, vegetation and hidrography of the region of India located between the cities of Pune and Hyderabad, could anyone help me?
How dry this region actually is?
How much rainfall does it gets in "normal" years?
And how usual are drought years (with way bellow than average rainfall) in this region?
Is this region crossed by large rivers? Does those rivers ever run dry?
Actually, if you could give me information also about the region more to the south, like the region around Anantapur, in Andhra Pradesh, I would appreciate that.
I'm trying to understand how dry this region of India really is, and how scarce is water there...
