Has anyone experienced that? I have never seen a morning-thunderstorm, only in the late night at maybe 3 am but never, say, between 6 and 10 am. I think it's almost impossible here.
But wouldn't it be amazing to be awakened by a thunder in the morning? That ranks high on my weather-to-do list.

Yes, it happened multiple times last year, in June, September and October.

A good portion of the thunderstorms here, are morning ones. A great way to start the day.

Quite frequent here. The strong afternoon ones actually worth seeing are of course reserved for other areas.

We can have thunderstorms at any time of day, though they are usually in the evening or at night. We had one in the morning in December.

okay, they are more common elsewhere than I thought. Maybe I will have one here too. However I can't recall any thunderstorms here in the morning, not even in the most thundery months...

Yes it is not unheard of here though most of thunderstorms occur at noon, afternoon and night. I remember one summer thunderstorm in Serres at sunrise of 01-08-2014, a thunderstorm in Ioannina at 02-09-2014 and one again at Ioannina in November. This year I can 't remember if we had one at morning.

They are pretty common in Paris. Some summers they're more frequent than evening or nighttime ones. 2013 was one of those.

They usually happen in the evenings, but can happen anytime. We even had a thunderstorm in morning this January (they happen very rarely in winter).

Most actual thunderstorms here have happened in the morning.

July 2013, July 2014, December 2014, January 2013 etc..

We don't get daytime convection thunderstorms here. Maybe a distant rumble of thunder. We either get plume storms or cold front related winter thunderstorms.
