Classic Southeastern US 'D' climate.

Summers are too warm and humid. Winters warmer than ideal of course, but they offer enough of a break from summer. Precipitation is good.

The ocean temp plays a huge role in average daily temps.

how odd is it that this place has reached 42c in june and yet the absolute record for the other summers months is only 38c...

As for me, I'm not a fan, mainly because (you guessed it) it is too humid in the summer and I'm not a fan of too mild winters.

That said, it is probably quite sunny overall and the record lows in winter are really good. so there's potential for interesting things happening.

C for me.

C. Too warm, not enough variation. Precipitation is within an acceptable range.

Too warm and humid in summer, too mild in winter.
Though I will say there is a strong breeze right along the beach that makes it more comfortable there.

The ocean actually helps that location have warmer nights than places further inland, so not sure what you're implying here.

I give this climate a D-. Too warm year around but at least winter has pleasant temperatures.
