Here in Denver, it's rain, rain, rain! I believe in the past 6 weeks or so, there have been fewer than a handfull of days without any precipitation. There has been some flooding, but major flooding will occur if we get much more. Heavy rain is expected this afternoon through tomorrow. Thunderstorms seem to be almost a daily occurrence
June has had just TWO days with mean temps above average, and there is only one more in the forecast, otherwise cold yet again for the entire second half of June.
Every day since May 21th has been colder than average.
And that is compared to the old 1961-90 average.
In fact, June so far is the coldest at least since 1923!
It is all due to a stuck weather setup, jet stream going south around here.
Weather patterns seems to stay put longer than before.
My 15 Day Forecast has all warmer than July's averages highs and lows. Looks more like typical summer in Dallas.
It will be very interesting to see the result end of this month.
