Having June as an abnormally dry month is the pits, especially since it's the month with highest sun angle.

Highest sun angle here is March/September near the equinox due to being 1/2 a degree from equator, and the past few years it's been dry, often wildfire haze... March 13, 2014 was the worst haze in 16.5 years...

June 1998 had some bad wildfires here as well and some extremely hot temperatures. That was actually the month I arrived here from Venezuela.
