I like Mediterranean, dry summer continental, or semi-arid climates. I hate too much overcast and humidity in summer. I am also jealous of places that get more snow and places where lakes actually freeze over.

I hate it when the rain snow line is north/west of my area. I'm always jealous of people in the blue.

I adore the climate where I live (near Portland, OR). Generally mild winters, just a few days of snow for fun. Summer temps hang around the 80's (except for next week, uh oh). I don't like it too hot, just enough heat for my tomatoes and corn ;-) And its gorgeous here.

I lived in Santa Cruz, California for a couple decades and that was great too, though the foggy summers made gardening more challenging.

Any climate cooler than mine without getting excessively cold (I don't envy Fairbanks). I feel like the climates I envy would simply be a list of my favorites, like Germany and New Zealand's South Island.

Yeah, when I first joined I only liked warm weather. Lately I'm a bit more of a continental fan. Wilmington summers are almost like Florida, but they also see some light snow in many years.

Does anyone know where I could find a climate similar to this one?

I've been searching but without luck
