It looks like the vast majority of the lower 48 states south of Iowa and east of the Rocky Mountains will more than likely be seeing a brown Christmas this year(with a few exceptions of course), I know that much of the southern plains and the southern half of the Midwest will most definitely have a brown Christmas this year
Sunny and bright with a -5°C high temperature today, on what is the Christmas in Swedish culture. Tomorrow it'll still be snow on the ground, but since a 2°C high under sun is forecast it may turn into slush quite quickly I'm afraid..
Had some snowfalls on 22nd-23rd November this year, and another snowfall back in 5th December, 2013, so I'd wager that counts as White Christmas (yes, I do get summer snowfall).
Toronto and the GTA will be close this year but no cigar.
After the warm rain that melted the snow for most of Eastern Canada Dec 20-22 (although Toronto has always been green and mild this month), we get just more than a trace of snow on Dec 23-24.
