So far as of July 2nd, Bridgeport, Islip, Binghamton, Worcester, Portland, Bangor, Caribou, Youngstown, and some other spots haven't hit 90° yet.

Also notice Richmond Virginia. They only hit it 3 times!

Map shows Number of days 90°+ this year so far.

Speaking of Richmond... It's the 2nd least number of times since late 1800s. Normally they have at least 10 by now. Only 1972 had less.

On a surprising note.. Burlington Vermont has more than Richmond with 5 days hitting 90+. That's the 4th most on record since late 1800s!

We have 5. 1 in May and 4 in June. There will surely be at least 2 in the coming week. I'm shocked we have more than somewhere like Richmond. Our average is 8 for the year so I'd be very surprised if we didn't have an above average amount😀

Good reminder about May. Hartford had more in May then June and most other places too.

Why do you have to remind me. We have so far 11. Today with be the second day where we don't break 80, 0 heat I the forecast, actually we have some days supposed to be upper 90s, doubt we break 95. Keep in mind my AVERAGE HIGH IS 90. This is absolute utter bs. Major forecast fail today. We were not even supposed to drop below 72 last night, we went to 69 and it's only 70 right now. People were talking about how chilly it was yesterday, many people felt cold. No joke.

Look how above average Atlanta is, this is insane. This summer so far has been lackluster, and rather unsummer like.

It's pretty interesting looking at that map.. You can literally see where the fronts and base of the troughs have been. North of South Carolina has barely gotten 90s compared to normal. That map is actually perfect to get a sense that there hasn't been a SER(South East Ridge). It's been centered West of Mississippi.

This week we will add a few more 90s to the book up to New England

Hopefully next summer the stupid trough that seems to be permanently stuck over the UK in summer will end up permanently over Eastern Europe. It's only fair.

Yes sir, same here, hope it ends up some where else. I actually can still salvage this summer, June is average, we have a shot at above average this July. I'm still convinced august will be our warmest month this year.

Since your averages are close together for every season has it ever happened where the coldest month was July and warmest january?
