That doesn't sound too bad at all.

I'm always kind of disappointed if we have a winter without snow.

I need snow to survive. I'd love to get a job in Michigan. Nothing appetizers me more than lots of snow, a couple shots of good whiskey, and a sturdy pair of north country denim.

While I'm living in the South right now, luckily enough we had snow at least once in every February.
I would be really depressed if I missed snow for a long time of the whole year.

I'd want reliable snowfall and a snowpack every season.

My ideal climate would have about 8-9 inches of snow accumulation on average per year.

I love snow, so couldn't definately living in a place without any snow at all. My dream climate has a stable snow cover from about late November to early/mid March.
As for the amount i'd rather have a small but stable amount- then lots of snow that will be gone within a few days due to strong thaws.

Snowstorms are live entertainment, unless, like the last two winters, they become monotonous or are often what some forecasters call "taint" or snow mixed with rain, ice pellets or freezing rain.

She-who-must-be-obeyed has decreed that we shall reside in a land of 'four seasons,' one of which is snow.

Thus, I drive a plow from October through March, and 8-9 inches is the average snowfall during a typical snowfall. (Sigh...)

But it's pretty.

Generally without it, but I wouldn't mind a once in a decade snow.
