In Ithaca? Averages 64 inches of snow, only lake effect locations and northern New England gets more snow in the eastern US.

Another failure in store for tonight's low. Looks like the forecast 39 F will be nowhere close to reality, as we haven't gone below 51 F as of midnight.

I'd prefer a winter that didn't stay stuck in cloudy or clear skies; I like seeing big puffy lake effect clouds and switching between cloudy/partly cloudy skies quickly with a short flurry in between.

Looks like significant snow is happening Wednesday.
