I think living abroad is a bit different. However, it's still a choice. But for a trip? Give me a break.

I work at a place called Rec Warehouse which sells pools, spas, and the equipment required for their maintenance.

My 2 cents
Well I don't know. I don't think i'd cope to well in a completely foreign country myself.
It's quite scary when you have no money and are "stuck" especially after midnight.

If it's just for a trip, then I agree it's ridiculous. Especially for a 20 year old. You're not a little girl anymore. Probably one of those chicks that was babied and spoiled rotten as a kid, and doesn't know how to deal with things on their own.

Just focus on getting out of this hellhole and on things you enjoy doing. It's probably the weather making you feel like this

Well I've gotten homesick on holidays before.

Lol maybe, and lack of sleep. I don't know, I just feel kind of "trapped" in a way.

Does that mean one can act like a baby?

I'm kind of tired of people in sunny climates whinning. I'm really sad and depressed that I have to be here.

It's not really exciting for a young person here, there is nothing to do. I'm already beginning to regret my uni town because it's in the middle of nowhere.

You are not trapped, you can move where ever you want I am restricted. The weather is so awful today.

I can move wherever I want? What fantasy do you live in that one can just up and move as they please? I get sick of your whining too when you have a very easy life living with mommy and daddy and not having to worry about job. Please.

No one feels bad for you here. You're bored because you choose to stay at home and do nothing and have no social life.

As if living in a sunny climate is automatic grounds to be happy. I get sick of people from "cloudy" climates thinking living in a sunny place means it's automatically a better or a happier place to live. There's more to life to worry about then about when the next sunny or warm day is going to be.
