Set up a DNS server on my VPN. We can't use a GUI in our class, only the CLI

It is obviously better in England but it is still not like NYC.

Not really. We were out in it exercising and shopping/eating. It is no big deal to me now.

The trip helped me adjust my preferences for climate again.
Go to London and you'll forget about NYC. You'll be too busy enjoying life to worry about the weather.

Then make it a long term goal. Just don't be like those clueless nerds that want to move to Japan so desperately because they watch anime and think life in Japan is like a cartoon. A lot of Brits have the same behavioral traits when it comes to the US, our lives do not revolve around the high temperatures and sunshine. Me and Alex are from the deep tropics, and we don't wish to go back to where we came from even though 30C winters are normal. There's more to the US than hot, sunny weather. What good is hot weather when the only place you can enjoy it is in your backyard, because you can't walk anywhere? The only good things about this country are the plentiful job opportunities (if you're a citizen, permanent resident, or Indian on H1B ) and the low cost of living. But, this country is car hell and having a broken down car is pretty much like being stuck in a wheelchair.

Life here is not a vacation. Unless you're filthy rich and can afford to never work, you're gonna be putting in your 40+ hours a week inside a building just like everyone else, and you won't be enjoying that noon time sun with the highest temps in the afternoon because you'll be too busy trying to make a paycheck. But hey, there's the weekends at least, where everyone else crowds all the good places. Just like in Japan, you're gonna be either a lame English assistant, or have a real job that you won't get to see that stereotypical anime girl he thinks exists in some mystical anime land. Rose tinted glasses, don't be that guy

So? I'm not some stupid person who goes to Disneyland every year and thinks thats the real America.

Because I know alot of people like that. I also know alot of people who want to move to countries that they have never been to due to how it is depicted on Television. Again, I agree that this is ridiculous.

There's nothing wrong with wanting a change of scenery and lifestyle. I could never be someone who willingly lived their entire life in one spot.

Just as I suspected, the 60% chance of storms amounted to one pittering fart of a "thunderstorm" with a grand total of 4 rain drops and severe gust of 10 mph, and an amazing 0 lightning strikes.
