Not even once? I saw quite a few lightning bolts/flashes.
The first two days I saw a few bolts from a distance, without rain. Then there were days with rain but no thunder. Lastly I was in southeast Georgia and it was just sunny.
What day did you leave? I know at some point we were there at the same time.

I left on the 15th. I experienced about 4 or 5 storms in addition to the distant lightning displays from far away storms. One thing I miss is the clear views, you could clearly see storms 100+ miles away, anything over 30 miles away is a rare treat here, there's way too many trees and other obstructions. You wouldn't see a tornado until you were in it, and even still you'd probably be unsure of what was going on.

Yeah, the open views there are great. I was there the 12-17, going to Brunswick to the afternoon of the 17th.
Got burnt today when I went out for a run. Mostly on my cheeks and forehead.
