Yes, that is very true.

P.S. It's also helpful when you have that "special someone" who's very understanding of you having a preference for colder weather.

Likewise, with heating the house, it's to achieve a comfortable temperatures, which is much lower, to save energy. I love a cool indoor environment. Love wearing sweatpants, sweatshirts, sleeping comfortably, drinking hot drinks, etc.
Same as you, snow is rare here though, but at least we get a great snowstorm every 2-3 years when we have the right conditions. It snowed for 3 consecutive days in between the 28th and the 30th of December and accumulated 60 cm here. Unfortunately i wasn't at home and missed it , i am hoping we get anything even remotely similar next winter

Yes, I can imagine. I want someone who also likes cold weather and snow.

I say an extra chilly room is great. Then you have to use one another for warmth.

Yeah, I'd be pretty mad if I missed that under those circumstances.

Sng90 our apartment in Serres is very cool in winter because we don t have heating in the block-of-flats. So we use just one electrical heater in my room. Thats all. The rest apartment has temperatures around 15 C.

That sounds perfect. I despise overheated buildings.

But it is not comfortable. I use 3 blankets and I am overdressed to sleep nice. I walk around the apartment with a blanket over me like a lion hahaha! It feels humid and cool. Sometimes is really unbearable. Before crisis our apartment was warm enough. And too warm sometimes.
