What trade? If I had to do something like that, I'd be a machinist or a welder, for sure.
I was thinking Auto Mechanic....I enjoy doing physical labor plus it would be a good skill to learn I think and it makes a pretty good living. I wouldn't have to spend money anymore fixing up my car lol.
Yeah, I was but it wasn't on a scholarship or anything so I was paying out of pocket.....due to certain circumstances within my family I had to stop studying for a while and I've never really gotten back into it...

That sucks. Could try to take just one class per semester, but that's still expensive.
My family runs an automotive shop. Their specialty is transmissions.

Yep, that's a good idea. Surprised you don't know how to do that stuff already. And you would still have to spend money on parts if you needed to fix anything. A power steering hose for my car cost me $65.

The British government charges £9,000 a year for the degree but it doesn't have to be paid back until you earn £21,000 and even then the fees are very low.

Honestly I've never been much of a school person anyways....too much bull**** classes to take just to get to the interesting classes that actually pertain to your major. I feel like undergrad school is like an extension of high school almost except with more responsibilities outside of school.

Being a mechanic would get a bit boring for me.
Hell, I'd rather spend $65 than whatever inordinate amount they would charge at a shop....
I know how to do basic things like change a tire, change the fluids, etc but I don't know how to fix a leak or anything like that. Would be good to learn.

Yep, right now I'm in 13th grade. I start college next fall.
Yeah. Honestly it's easy to see why some people just choose to work right out of high school....or go to a trade school.

Lol, you're just going to be in 14th grade next fall. Honestly the first two years of college are such a waste of time....it's not til your 3rd or 4th year that you get into the real interesting classes.
