I went to a gas station today. I saw that the gas prices here were typically about 1.55 CHF.
The exchange rate between CHF and USD is basically 1 right now, so I was like "WOW, only $1.55 for a gallon of gas. Awesome!"
Then I realized that it was $1.55 for a LITER of gasoline, which equates to around $5.86 for a GALLON of gasoline, and I proceeded to stare off at the sky in disdain. Everything is so ****ing expensive here. The other day it cost me $7 to do a load of laundry.
Switzerland is the most expensive country in Europe.
Ugh, my parents keep begging me to come down this weekend. I'm not driving two and a half hours just to sit around and do nothing when I have **** to do up here.
