I used to always sweat walking to class if it was 80F+ outside. It would often take half an hour sitting at the desk in the classroom before my body temp felt normal again. I think mid 60s would be excessive, though.
They scare me though, they've got so much power with that money. I can't help but get angry about it to be honest, I don't think anyone should have a monopoly over the rest of the population.
And yes there is an upper class in England, I don't know much about it but i've started to pick up on a few people.
I thought they had by now, they have for me.. well actually this first week most classes will just be introductory, especially for freshers.
My earliest ones start at 9am, they are 50 minutes long, or 1h 50 minutes if you have a 2 hour long class, to leave 10 minutes at the end to get to your other classes on time. Likewise from 1pm onwards classes start at 10past the hour and finish on the hour to give you a bit of time to eat something in case you're in all day
example:
9am-9:50 - class 1
10-12:50 - class 2
13:10- 15:00 - class 3
I only have 7 hours/week though.. Monday and Friday off, so I'm hardly in class at all.
Your reaction to A/C and outdoor temperatures sound close to mine.
Yep. Sometimes the feeling of being between artificial and natural temperatures is very uncomfortable, not at all similar to the feeling of hot or cold. Sometimes I walk by a building when someone is opening the door and a blast of AC hits me. Ugh, it's very uncomfortable. I usually don't get the same reaction when I'm inside and warm air from outdoors seeps in.
Oh dear, some people have no grip on reality. Idiot Chinese girl says she's going to move to Australia and start a new life there, since everything about her life is ****ed up, apparently. Obviously she needs to work on improving herself if that's the case.
