Possibly tonight..... leaving plants uncovered as it say 40. Not 36,35,34... still know 40 could snuggle up wit 32 right quick. Just not ready today! And so I am gambling with plants. Wish me luck I

.... and actual freeze seldom before mid-november (sometimes even late november!) truly blessed, sure, but that goes with low, grey skies, sprinkling rains and meh 10°-14°C temperatures (november average). You don't see much blue skies in Paris in november-december, it's the price to pay for the (relatively) balmy temperatures (sometimes as high as 8°c-10°C at night! funny how small temperature amplitudes are in late autumn in Paris)
Thank you!
One is a 100+ year old Easter cactus, a few Hoyas, and lots of other houseplants that I have been lucky enough to keep outside this summer. Up at 2 am and covered them, just in case. it is just such a production to move them all back in for the winter. They have been happy outside.
We did dodge the first frost - phew. It is just 41 degrees as promised, which is such a nice low at night. It is that time of year, and I have been reminded. Figuring out winter spots inside now.
