Yup... Just another dip out West. Look at those 30s this morning. Cold air compressing down to surface inside the trough while Winnipeg is in the ridge with expanding heat




There used to be some guys on this forum that used to think the Rockies block the Jet stream. That was funny. Just because there was always a ridge out west (causing heat drought conditions) they never saw the opposite happening. The reverse been happening past 2 yrs now with the Jet stream digging down to Mexico at times. Nothing to do with mountains. lol. I still think that was funny.

Today. Some shifting. Seattle on the border so wont be as cold as yesterday. Snow for some mountains. Freezing line I think is above 7000'.

Snow shower in Virginia City, Montana. 33F . 5700'. Looks like its only sticking to roofs, at the time of this video. No idea what happened afterwards

Another cold Upper Low over Northwest. Snow down to 5000' in Montana which is low for this time of yr now. Surface temps 10-20 below normal this afternoon in Idaho and Montana.
