Here, a study by a PhD student which found that Americans were just as miserable with 80F max temps as they were with 30F max temps (of course, I'd be much happier at 30F myself).

Just because most people like it hot doesn't mean they would prefer 100 F to 50 F. 100 F isn't merely "hot" it's very or extremely hot.

And it says most, not all. Some people like the cold.

Again, I don't get why you keep using the homeless pointless argument. The average person isn't homeless and doesn't spend 24 hours outside, so that's a pointless argument.

Anyways, I'm repeating myself because you're just that much of a moron. I'm done.

That's just an opinion, like saying 50 is extremely cold.

Your poll does not show specific temperatures. Whats cold and whats hot? Just because people living in already warm cities and prefer hotter temperatures doesn't mean they want temperatures at 100 F.

Simple logic, if they want hot, it's probable they'd prefer 100 to 50. 50 is cold for most people.

How do you know 50 is cold to "most" people? And Shalop above posted a better article than you, and you never addressed it.

Looking at that paper, all they did was measure the average utility bills and compare at which point they are equal. In other words, Americans spend around as much to heat their homes at 30F as they do to AC at 80F.

There is obviously a lot of shaky premises there to go from utility bills to what climate people prefer, so I like my poll better.

this uses tweets to measure what type of temps people like? Pretty retarded if you ask me. For that reason I don't think it is an accurate way of measurement.

So your saying the majority of people living in Minneapolis are homeles? How would the residents of the city live if they never go out no matter the season?
