Nice, seasonal pics. Cool morning in the upper 50s? Must be around normal for late September? Still cool in comparision with the last few months.

I have no idea what the foliage is like at home, but here in England it's not really that far forward, I have noticed some yellow leaves appearing.

So I walked around this afternoon. The first thing I noticed was the different species of trees, they're not really like anything I've seen before:

Then there was a race on:

Some more trees:

Artifical lake:

The swan, i've been told it's six foot so I am assuming it is standing in the water.

It's late this year. Leaves are probably 1.5-2 weeks later than last year, though I can see a tinge of yellow in spots. The higher elevations (well, not truly high as those elevations don't have deciduous trees) of the White Mountains peaked around this time last year

Yup.. said it at beginning of Sept. Gonna be late. We sure are. I agree seems like 1-2 weeks late.

Some cool nights bringing out more oranges and reds here but wow its mostly still green around. 90% still. Big difference from past 2 yrs at this time. After Wednesday watch how fast they start changing. Cool and wet period coming.

Down here it's about 3-4 weeks fast. Lindens and poplars were showing some yellow last week, and now a few others have started. Normally most trees would still be green into October.

Total Lunar Eclipse last night.

From Apalachin, NY last night. Moon was red. My photos aren't great.

Here's the one I took.. Was cool to see happen in real time. Shadow was going left to right. obviously

Squirrels are "starting" to get active but by no means not in a hurry or rushing like last year. NO IDEA what this one was chewing on in my backyard
