I'm INFJ and I like heat more than cold, but I do like a bit of cold in winter.

I'm very introverted and unconventional and I vastly prefer the heat

ENTP here. I hate cold, and love 17-30°C weather, so rather a warmth/light heat lover. Not sure what you mean by conservative/conventional, but I'm all about both economic and social freedom. Not sure how that translates on the political spectrum, even less so on the specific US one. Not too interested in politics.

Most tropical residents are automatically "(very) warm lovers"(comfort range 70s and 80s F) simply because of lack of cold tolerance, 1 of 4 people extra layer(s) even outside at sunny humid 30C. Obviously it doesn't mean they're conservatives!

Are you sure you couldn't try moving to Australia? There are quite a lot of opportunities for visa sponsorship (even if it means taking less than ideal jobs for a while). And once you or your wife gets one, the other can automatically get the same visa. (My situation).

I don't really think so. The large population in states like CA/TX/FL probably has more to do with other factors like where family & jobs are located. FL in particular has alot of retirees who might move to get away from cold weather, but I don't think that means that their personal views on politics, philosophy etc are necessarily more conventional.

Yes the wife and I have discussed Australia several times and she's slowly warming up to the idea. She'd have a better shot at getting a visa than me due to her professional qualifications. Will see what happens.

Yes we talk quite frequently... I just wish there were no immigration procedures between Canadians and Australians
