What are some lesser known places in the US where months other than July are the warmest. The most obvious example is the West Coast, but I'm looking for other examples.

In the northwest, the phenomenon of August being warmer than July stretches all the way into the panhandle of Idaho.

Are there any places where June is the warmest month?

Some places in New Mexico have highest average highs in june,
but july is still the hottest month as the lows are warmer (due to more moisture in the air
during "monsoon" season.

Also some extremely "maritime" climate on both east and west coasts,
august slightly warmer (especially California).

OP asked about NOT the hottest places.

Seattle was the chilliest or most comfortable summer city, with an average daytime temperature of 74.9 degrees, a nighttime low of 52.9 degrees and a dew point of 50.8 degrees. Portland, Ore., San Francisco, Denver and San Jose, Calif., were also listed in the top five chill summer cities.

My question was about places where July isn't the hottest month, not about places with cool summers.

For example, where I live, summers are rather mild and August is the hottest month.
