I experienced hacker attack, the reason is politics. In Serbia are elections for few days, and I am anti-regime activist. Regime activists operate of hacker attacks against anti-regime activists.
Yes 1961-1990 climate normals are not that old, but I could not find the older.

Turn of century Chicago temps (in F). Note temps then taken very close to lakeshore

Compare with today at Northerly Island (also on lakeshore)

Seems as if there has been a substantial warming since that early period.

Much colder in spring and fall but strangely had warmer summer lows. Less snowy too.

The period is short since the site I used doesn't provide the monthly/yearly averages, only the weather on specific days. I used Excel for calculation, but it still needed a lot of copy-paste work.

August looks rather cool and freezing temperature during it seems ridiculous, it's perhaps an error due to empty cells being interpreted by Excel as zeroes (there is no data for some months and days), I'll check it tomorrow.
