Yeah, they do over-exaggerate the "feels like" readings, especially on hot days. A very dry and windy 40C would at least "feel like" 36C, rather than 30C. Lol.

When it's windy with temps around 16C, the feels like would be around 12C on BOM. Which makes sense because wind does make the cool air feel colder (i.e. windchill). So they did get that part right.

Windchill here is only defined for temperatures below 10°C

Came home to find an unusually crowded parking lot and a dark, empty apartment. Something weird is going on here. Roommates left early for Thanksgiving break?

Btw, I just reflexively scratched my head after reading that.
Here's the day I arrived. Think you could handle a summer in the deep south?

I looked at that and thought to myself, "That's not bad, it also gets that hot and humid up here too just not an everyday occurrence, just an occasional one from July to early August." But I wonder how it compares to Sydney

We haven't spent that long with a 75F+ dewpoint since 2011.

32C, 25C DP, with heat index of 39C. That would be the worst part of the day. Lol.

Does it feel bad for other people though?

Oh come on, I thought you were better than that. Lol

I was expecting worse honestly. Along the lines of 95 F with 75+ dew points.

Take this as someone who has lived in Miami damn near my whole life, it feels terrible to us too. Lol

In fact during summer everyone talks about how hot it is. I would imagine Brunswick isn't too different.
