I wouldn't say I don't like Biology, but biology almost always on the lowest grades compared to Physics, chemistry and maths, for me. Except maybe genetics.

I don't think he gets to stay in Finland. As there was no evidence that he had killed the man and severed the head, he couldn't be convicted of war crimes per se, but only as degrading a corpse.
Two others are on trial for possible murder, and for that the only sentence is life.
