^ That kind of sounds like a sleep apnea episode. Those can be really scary.

There are quite a few times where I'm falling asleep and I jolt awake, because it feels like I'm falling.

Dry cough is so annoying if one is trying to sleep.

In one case, I fell on the slippery floor with "caution wet floor" sign in the dream!

I've had dreams where a mysterious force drags me into a deep body of water. I've also had multiple dreams where I've been stabbed up the rib cage, it was always accompanied by an odd discomfort in that area, sometimes I'd get it while I was awake.

IT HAPPENS TO ME AS WELL!

I eventually fall asleep without even realizing, of course, but that feeling is annoying!
There are times where I'm awake in my bed, but I feel like if I won't move, I'm going to be sleep-paralyzed, so I almost unvoluntarily move my arms and head fast to gain consciousness, even though I suppose that, even if I don't do that, I wouldn't get paralyzed. I don't know. It's more annoying than scary, though. Does it happen to you?

Yes, that happens to me quite a lot, it's called sleep paralysis. I wake up during the middle of the night and I can't move. I just fall back to sleep usually, or try to move my fingers until I can move again. The first time I experienced it, it was kind of creepy, but now I don't really care because I know what it is.
