Somehow I think the founders based that stupid electoral college on British tradition or something. Probably Parliament in the 1700's.
The founding fathers adopted the electoral college system for the purpose of limiting democracy, to a certain extent.

It depends on the UV index and your skin color.

Huh. Map shows a UV index of 7, but the sun was direct. I wonder if it was 7, or it's below actual because there was forecast to be more clouds
