Lying awake in bed.

Kind of interesting to observe how early the birds start chirping. That usually wakes me up around this time when I sleep with the windows open. That time is right now. Approximately 4:40 AM. That changes with seasonal and thus daylight hour changes.

June 25th.. smack dab between Christmas last year, and Christmas this year.

Couldn't imagine living in the Southern Hemisphere. It would be all mixed up. Now's the time for a Midsummer festival, not Christmas.

That's what I mean. This time of year (the length of daylight and all - the equivalent time of year being December 25th in the SH) does not jibe with a Christmas feeling.

I could say the same of living in Florida, or coastal California.

I don't know just how accurate the Accuweather website is regarding temps, especially longer range numbers but for the week of July 3 -9 at Furnace Creek in Death Valley it will be interesting to see if the highs do come close to their predictions.

Long, tiring day. I'm near Bear, Delaware, where I've been at a family outing all day. Long, fun mostly fun day.

4:34 AM...82.4F. Even at sunrise, the dewpoint was only around 20F! I wonder if people could feel themselves sweating at all.

20 F is extremely dry. I'd have dry skin issues under those conditions
