Hamedan. A good example of a Dsa climate.

The others are all quite acceptable apart from Rasht. The odd snowfall cant make up for its British-style cloudiness. Bandar Abbas is good for year round warmth, but does it just touch on the Indian monsoon? The sunshine goes down in midsummer, and it rains a little, only a little.

As I searched in ogimet about Rasht it doesn't have a british style cloudiness. It has days with no sun and days that are almost sunny most of the day (more than 8-9 hours). This is at least for summer. As I know in Britain days are partly cloudy with a combination of sun and clouds into the day. In Rasht no. But it is still very cloudy for its latitude.

Bandar Abbas has very pleasant winters.
Summers are too hot but still manageable with AC. Way too hot in the afternoon sun but good for swimming after dark.

All are horrible. But I'm gonna go with Tehran for not being as extreme.

I like Bandar Abbas and Ahvaz.

They're not my type of climate, but they're a good example of the kind of extremes that are possible in the world.

Ahvaz having the highest average summer temps (36-38C) of any large city in the world, and Bandar Abbas having the highest average summer dew points (27-28C) of any large city in the world.

I think Kuwait City matches Ahvaz in Summer heat.
The Summers of the last years have been comparable
Climate Kuwait Internationalairport - Climate data (405820)
Climate Ahwaz - Climate data (408110)

Persia certainly has some interesting climates. Plenty of snowy mountains as well.

They are similar but although Kuwait appears to be a little hotter, Ahvaz can be more extreme as I searched.
