This town on the Indian Ocean coast of WA is about a 10 hour drive north of Perth. It is known for its bananas and pineapples (sometimes). I also love its climate, almost perfect winters (apart from rainfall) and nice warm summers with some nice humidity.
I'd rate it B+. Very nice in my opinion and can still get quite cold (I know some cold lovers will hate it but I assure I have been there when it's "cold" and it can get nippy in the mornings.
Just saying, it may get very hot but then it's dry (strong easterly winds) with the record highs, also it may only be for a few hours and then the humid sea breeze will return.
A. I like the whole year minus the summer. The record highs are a little bit frightening, but that seems to be the case with most Australian locations. On the positive side, I don't think I've ever seen a month as pleasant as October is in this climate.
